Registered Teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance.
CBTS Mentor of the Royal Academy of Dance.
Founding member of the Professional Association of Dance Teachers of Cyprus.
Chairman of the Board of Cyprus Dance Association for a number of years.
Director of Clea Pitsillidou Ballet School since 1988.
Clea danced in many performances of the Cyprus Dance Association. Represented Cyprus with the Dance Group "Synthesis" at the Biennale of Young Artists in France. She worked as an assistant to well-known choreographers for Cyprus Dance Association productions. Main collaborator of Paphos Municipality for many events. Recently choreographed the project "Eternal Travels" (Paphos 2017, European Cultural City, Summer Highlight).
Η ΣΧΟΛΗ
Η Σχολή Μπαλέτου Κλέας Πιτσιλλίδου ιδρύθηκε το 1988 και έκτοτε λειτουργεί παράλληλα στην Πάφο και στη Λεμεσό. Η Σχολή δραστηριοποιείται σε ένα ευρύ φάσμα μαθημάτων και εκδηλώσεων που αφορούν το σύνολο των μαθητών. Όλα τα παιδιά έχουν την ευκαιρία να ενταχθούν στο εξεταστικό σύστημα του Royal Academy of Dance, RAD το οποίο διασφαλίζει ψηλού επιπέδου τεχνική εκπαίδευση και ασφαλή πρακτική στο κλασσικό μπαλέτο.
Στο μοντέρνο και σύγχρονο χορό, τα παιδιά έχουν την ευκαιρία εξετάσεων στο Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, ISTD. Η Σχολή μας διοργανώνει και λαμβάνει μέρος σε σεμινάρια, με δασκάλους εγνωσμένου κύρους από Κύπρο και εξωτερικό. Παρέχει προγράμματα εντατικής εκπαίδευσης για διαγωνισμούς στην Κύπρο ή στο εξωτερικό. Είναι γνωστές οι παραστάσεις της σχολής στις οποίες λαμβάνουν μέρος όλα τα παιδιά και διοργανώνονται κάθε χρόνο. Συμμετέχει στις εκδηλώσεις του Δήμου Πάφου όπως και άλλων φορέων.
Η Σχολή είναι ιδρυτικό μέλος του Συνδέσμου Χορού Κύπρου.
Κύριος στόχος μας η σωστή διδασκαλία στον έντεχνο χορό και η δημιουργία ευκαιριών έκφρασης . Γι' αυτό έχουμε προχωρήσει στο σχηματισμό Ομάδας Χορού και καλλιτεχνικής δημιουργίας με την επωνυμία "Ίριδα", που σκοπό έχει την έκφραση μέσω του χορού και όχι μόνο... αφού αυτή εκφέρεται και με άλλα είδη εκφραστικών τεχνών. Μέλη της "Ίριδας" είναι επιλεγμένοι χορευτές και χορογράφοι της σχολής.
Έργο μας η μεταφορά των αξιών του κλασσικού μπαλέτου στα παιδιά μας, μέσω του σωστά καταρτισμένου και έμπειρου διδακτικού προσωπικού, δίνοντας ευκαιρίες σε όλους, με αφοσίωση, επαγγελματισμό και πάνω απ' όλα αγάπη...
THE SCHOOL
Clea Pitsillidou Ballet School was founded in 1988 and operates in Paphos and Limassol.
The school is an approved center of the Royal Academy of Dance, RAD and ensures a high level of technical education and safe practice in classical ballet. Exams with the Royal Academy of Dance are being held in our school, in two examination periods every academic year.
In modern and contemporary dance, children have the opportunity to train and enter for exams in the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, ISTD syllabus. Our School organizes and participates in seminars, with well known teachers from Cyprus and abroad. Provides intensive training for dancers working for competitions held in Cyprus and abroad.
The well known performances of the school, in which all the children take part are organized annually. The school participates in the events of the Municipality of Paphos.
The School is a founding member of the Cyprus Dance Association.
Our main goal is creating opportunities for dancers to express through movement. That is why we have proceeded to the formation of a Dance and Artistic Creation Group with the name "Irida". Members of "Irida" are selected dancers of the school and choreographers.
Our mission is to transfer the values of classical ballet to our children, giving everyone the opportunity to dance, with dedication, professionalism and above all, love!
